Hospital de la Misericordia
Fue fundado en 1790 por Julián Antonio Ibáñez como hospital con 8 camas. En su construcción colaboró el pueblo, la Iglesia y hasta la reina. Contaba con capilla en el lateral izquierdo y espadaña. Se mantuvo en uso hasta el final de los años 80s del siglo XX. Fue reparado por la escuela taller en entre 1992 y 1998. Actualmente es sede del área de Desarrollo del Excmo. Ayuntamiento de Alcaudete, que da cabida al área de Formación y Empleo, al área de Turismo y Patrimonio, el servicio de Andalucía Orienta y el programa Guadalinfo. Destaca su portada labrada y la existencia de una mina de agua que surte desde el patio. Por él discurren además restos de lienzos de la muralla urbana del castillo.
The Hospital was founded by Julián Antonio Ibáñez in 1790, and initially had eight beds. Its building was financed by local people, the Church and even the Queen. On the left-hand side of the building there used to be a Chapel with a belfry. The Hospital was in use until the end of the 1980s. It was later refurbished by a local workshop school between 1992 and 1998. It currently accommodates the Local Development Area of the Town Hall (which integrates both its Training and Employment Services and its Tourism and Heritage Area), the Andalusian Employment Counselling Services and the Guadalinfo Programme. Its most outstanding feature is its carved facade. It shelters a water mine under its patio, where it is also possible to observe the remains of the ancient walls of the Castle.
