Juzgado de Paz y Placetuela del Carmen
Los Juzgados de Paz de Alcaudete y el registro civil existente en el mismo, en otro momento llegaron a ser juzgados comarcales. Actualmente su función principal es la de registro y archivo civil. Destaca su pórtico neoclásico con un soportal sostenido por cuatro columnas jónicas sobre una escalinata; en el frontón destaca la alegoría de la justicia rodeada por dos leones rampantes. La placetuela del Carmen, lugar donde se encuentra el juzgado, es un vestigio del convento de la Encarnación, siendo esta el espacio que ocupaba el antiguo claustro. En las cercanías, aún permanecen los patios del antiguo convento (ahora pertenecientes a casas particulares) que tenían derecho a parte de las aguas sobrantes de la fuente de la villa.
The Municipal Justice of the Peace Court and its civil registry office used to be the County Court in the past. It currently functions as both civil registry office and archive. Among its most outstanding features we find its neoclassic portico, with a porch resting on four ionic columns over a staircase. Its pediment contains an allegorical representation of Justice surrounded by two rampant lions. The small square of El Carmen, where the Justice of the Peace Court is situated, was built over the space devoted to the cloister of the old Encarnación Convent. In the surrounding area we can still contemplate the old courtyards of the Convent, now privately owned, which were fed by the waters of Fuente de la Villa.
